In February 1984 the schooner was pulled down to the river. A road was kept plowed to allow the ground to freeze. Using two large bulldosers she was moved about a quarter of a mile to the launch site which happened to be exactly the same place schooners were launched in the 1800's.Coming down the steep slope was a bit tense, but all went well.
